a day with the girls!

ok... this bunch was a hand full for sure. :) 2 sisters and a sister-in-law... all pregnant at the same time! we had a blast working with the group... and i think they had a blast playing with each other. you girls rock! good luck with the rest of your pregnancy! and keep the scissors out of your hands - :)

what could be more adorable!! this was sophia's first birthday celebration! and she dug into that cake. by the look on her face you can tell she wasn't quite sure if he was going to get in trouble or not. let me tell you... within about 30 seconds... she was having a blast eating and licking the cake off her hands.

prenatal shoot | scales

what a wonderful family. we have been working with these guys for many months now - we started when they were 4 months along in our prental project. and here are two from their 8 month shoot.

st louis bridal show

WOW! talk about madness. we did the bridal show this jan and there were a ton of brides - somewhere between 2 and 3 thousand. its amazing how ORGANIZED they are. :) and its always funny seeing the groom-to-be trailing behind - wondering like i am... what time does the football game start?

all in all - we had a great show. met a lot of cool new people, clients and vendors.

wedding | westfall

here is a wedding we did in december. if you recall from previous posts... these are the people we got stung by bees during their engagement shoot. hmmm... and they still let us shoot their wedding. :) all kidding aside - they were awesome to work with and they had an awesome wedding - the 9th street abbey did a great job as well. we loved their theme. they are big coffee fans and had a coffee theme - i know, doesnt sound cool - but it was very cool. so, one of the first cool things they did - you walk into the reception and there is a bin filled with coffee beans and your name card was tied to a silver scoop with a red ribbon (this was your party favor). then you would look to see what table you were sitting at. and the tables werent numbered - they were the names of coffee types - i.e. espresso, java, mocha, etc. anyway - very cool and very unique. here are some pics from the wedding. enjoy-

new year's resolution

ok... we have many many things we promise to do every year at this time. One of my to-dos.... blog more. :) my goal is to blog at least every two weeks... so we shall see if i can keep that pace - we have enough shoots going on thats for sure and many great pictures to show.

newborn shoot | wilson

can you say... ham! this was a newborn shoot - but big brother stole the show for sure. adorable boys... mom and dad will need to stay on their toes for sure. :) lots of energy!

engagement shoot | haber

these two guys were a blast. we went to the gardens... no one got stung. :) anna and aaron had a lot of fun - always laughing - very cute couple. great to work with - can't wait to see what awesome images we get from the wedding!! oh man... and if you ever get a chance... check out the japanese gardens... i think they have killer fish in that lake. they are huge!

engagement shoot | westfall

omg... this was the shoot from hell for these guys. we had the afternoon planned - some pics at the studio and then some at forest park. sounds simple enough right?? well, we lean them against a tree in forest park and all of a sudden we were under attack by what had to be killer bees. i mean erin was covered in them - i think she got stung like 8 times. i got stung.... ZERO times. :) but after all that... we got some awesome pictures. thanks to both erik and erin for being such troopers!

6 month session | the oldanis

this is another baby that gets cuter and cuter everytime we see her. little sophia - i love the absolute look of adoration between her and her dad. she will be daddy's little girl for sure.

newborn session | the grieders

this is a shot from a recent shoot with the grieders and baby isabella. this shot was all my idea... :) just kidding. actually, rachel had this idea for roses and man what an idea it was. i love this picture. so peaceful and most of all - very unique. what a beautiful baby. i love this bw image as well. just shows how precious life is.
